The Apronista Vintage Apron Giveaway

So I thought for our inaugural giveaway for 2008, I would do a giveaway that had a bit of all of us in it. So, you have the opportunity to win a package that includes a little bit of me, Eren, and EllynAnne. Just by entering your comment on this post, you will be eligible to win a Vintage Apron selected from both my and Eren's collections, and an autographed copy of EllynAnne's "The Apron Book". The deadline to enter this drawing is next Friday, January 11th at 9pm Pacific. You may also enter a second time if you post about the giveaway on your website. Thanks for being a part of the Apronista, and Good Luck!!!

Isn't it cool that aprons are almost becoming a fashion statement?

Maren said...

Wow. What a treat! Vintage aprons & the Apron book. I've made an apron out of this book, but wanted to make a couple more. It's like the Holy Grail for apronista's. You can't tell me you don't feel like a kid in a candy store when you find a new pattern you adore & itch for new fabric that will bind the two together for life... this is long winded - but so am I.

I really need to add to my collection of {one} apron. Sad but true,I have been meaning to get more but one is where I am with the collection. Vintage style aprons remind me of my Grandma Bohman in the kitchen cooking a home grown meal the Roast & all.

What a very generous gesture. I don't have a blog I'm afraid, but would love to be entered in the draw please.

i was given my first wee apron at the tender age of six. it was made from teeny dark blue gingham squares and had a heart bodice onto which my name *katherine* was hand-embroidered in red letters.
my younger brother got a boy-apron in brown gingham, also with his name on it.
very special.

i've got out of the habit of wearing an apron these days, i usually wipe my hands on my jeans (naughty) or an unsuspecting child who is running by (jokes!)
i'd love to get back in to the groove of wearing an apron...
if i don't win this competition, (well, i think this is the 200th entry lol) i just might have to get out my sewing machine and make 2008 the year of the apron!!
love and thanks
